Since now we got no cue when BS06 english will be coming out so for the time being i'll just update you guys abit for Japanese card instead!

Players who don't know what is a "Brave Spirit", "Brave Spirit" is a new kind of Spirit which allows you to combine your spirit and with "Brave Spirit" to have better and stronger attack BP and effect.

with new spirits and also new effect

Here is also a new way of playing Battle Spirits by combining 2 of your spirit together.

Way of summoning spirits still the same. Is just that you can combine 2 Spirit BP together and also u can spit them up again.

Something new also if your spirit is being destroy instead of 2 spirits being destroy the 1 with the abitily [combine] will nt be destroy. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY IT A DOUBLE BREAKER!!

As estimated this series of card will be out nxt year so be prepared~ As for now dont forget to join the Pre Junior cup this TML at zeapy game (North point mall)

Thorn Poison Against Binding thorn

“Binding thorn” only allow you to exhaust 1 opponent spirit and as for “Thorn Poison” it allows you to exhaust 2 opponent spirits. So after reading this which 1 will u use?

Compared all the nexus which I hv mention really I’ll rather choose “The Open Spell Book” then using the other 2 cards. Reason is because first I no need to activate 2 nexus in order for me to get all the combo I want to slow down opponent (it not easy to draw 2 nexus and use 2 nexus at the same time). Secondly I no need to pay so many core for 2 nexus during the activation and also lvl them up.

I personally like the effect of “The Open Spell Book” because you really can slow opponent down due to lvl 2 effect and also use cards like “Deadly Balance” without destroy your own spirit too.

well here is a VERY GOOD defence combo which you can use it to prevent opponent from attacking to your life also GAINING CORES AT THE SAME TIME?

This combo is to prevent opponent from attacking to your life, also during the blocking you can gain more core due to the effect of the spirits which i have mention.

Then why put “The Protection of the Sacred Artifacts”?? Simple many “Red” spirit / spell have the effect of destroy nexus on the field, so by have “The Protection of the Scared Artifacts” will make the combo stronger and also harder to destroy the nexus needed.

Hi everyone! we're just 13days away for the first Qualifying round of Battle Spirits Asia tournament (Junior cat) who will be the Champion of that day?

On the same day itself we will also be selling the latest booster pack BS05 - Dawn of the Ancients" so be sure to go down and purchase the pack early in order for u all hv more time to edit ur deck b4 joining the event!

As for this week i'm going to review 2 purple spirits which u can form up a few combo with some cards from BS01

First card i'm going to review is "The Dark Bishop Baculus" this card hv the same effect as my all time fav spirit "The Phantom Dragon Sheyron" just that "Dark Bishop" dont have lvl 2 effect like "Sheyron".

As usual my fav combo, after summoning "The Dark Bishop Baculus" you can summon either "The Seven Shogun Desperado" or "The Vampire Dampeel" to deplete opponent spirits. =P

I find this card quite strong as it can combo with many card such as “The phantom Dragon sheyron” as you can weaken opponent spirits first then summon it to the field or another way is summon it by using “The Ultimate Dragon Emperor Sieg-Sol-Fried” effect to take it out from deck and summon it.

As for collector they might think this Crimson Sieg set. First 5 cards totally different and all the art itself is cool!

For weeks we have been talking about “Spirits” or “Spell” but we hardly review nexus. Well as for this week I’m going to review some “Nexus” which are commonly used in many Asia countries in their tournament.

Many players might have the thinking of using a nexus slow down your deck and also very waste of core. But actually nexus are card which boost up the speed of gaining more cores or even hand size.

If you notice tat ur nexus is always stuck in your hand cause you dont hv enough core well then you shd include "The Victory Stand of the Glory". "Victory stand" is a nexus which nt only you can use your nexus without paying the cost same time you can gain core due to it Lvl 2 effect. So if you're playing a lot of nexus in your deck dont forget to include "The Victory Stand of the Glory" (the reason y Japan restricted it is bec it too powerful)

Hi everyone! This week I’m going to review 2 very special type of card they’re double colour spirits! If you have a chance to watch the last 2 episode of Battle Spirits Anime you will know both Bashin and J join a tag team tournament. During the final game against the other 2 character which I forget their name =x.

J manage to summon “The Sacred Emperor Siegfrieden” the combination of White and Red spirits and won the tournament. Well let us look into the effect and see how come both Bashin and J can win the tournament by using this card!

I find most of the cards which I mention above are very useful for many decks. For example, “Sudden Death Draw” and “Extra Draw” both give you extra drawing ability and rise the chances of drawing cards which you need.

As for "Victory Fire" it allows you to destroy 2 Spirits opponent control or 1 Spirits + 1 Nexus so you can choose the situation you're in then make decision which to destroy.

Something special to share with you guys. I happen to saw this Japan Champion deck which he uses nexus and also this promo card “The Dino Deity Gundinons” to wipe out his entire opponent in the tournament. Hope we won’t see this deck so fast over here!

Lastly when tis spirits attack it destroy your opponent high BP spirit which make them cant block same time u get to draw a card~ OMG FAINT~~

How I wish I can get 3 of this card and play for fun muhahaha~~

This card is really powerful as you can do a lot of loops combo with cards like “Hell Blindi” or even with “The Phantom Dragon Sheyron” to weaken opponent spirits then summon “The Iron Knight Yggdrasill” to return all opponent bigger spirits to hand and do a winning kill. But by doing this make sure you have lots of cores!

Hi Battle Spirits Fans! As you know the new BS05 will be coming out on this September. But many players must be wandering what will be some of their rare cards which will be coming out.

As for this few weeks i will review some card which MIGHT be printed in the new series it nt 100% but at least you know the effect. XD

Arcanasoldier Cinq

Many players have experience that all their spirits on their field is either being destroy or exhuasted (flame tempest and etc) due to opponent spell card effect and ended up losing the game

But there is 1 card which can protect all your other spirits on the field. if you have multiple spirits on the field but you're worried that opponent might use spell card to destroy or exhuast all your spirits you can summon.

Arcanasoldier - Clinq is the spirits you need to solve your entire problem.

Each time when your opponent play a spell card which affect all spirits on your field including Arcansoldier - Clinq. You can change to affect only on Arcanasoldier- Clinq to prevent your other spirits being affected by the spell card your opponent play!

The Tyrant Fuhjaus

After looking thru the list I find out that this dragon really have the potential to become cards which can be played in main deck or side board.

For lvl 1 you get to destroy all nexus your opponent control. It a very good cards to count opponent which play multiple nexus like “the fruit of life”,"The Historic Battlefield of the cursed", "The Limestone cave of emerald", "the spiral tower" and etc. This will not only destroy their nexus by doing this you can slower down many deck which relay on their nexus by spoiling their combo.

As for Lvl 2 you can refers spirits like “The Thunder dragon – El Clair” or other winged dragon you control which already declare attack once. This will really speed up either destroying opponent spirits by attacking or drop opponent life fast.

Lastly for Lvl 3 when you defeat a opponent spirit you still can choose another opponent summoning cost 3 or less sprits and destroy it. By using 1 spirits you killed 2 of opponent spirits a worth trade.

Labour day Special!

Still remember I mention that I’m going to review a card which is good for blocking and attacking? After I look all over the list I notice “Iron Golem” effect is really good for blocking and attack.

As you can see, by discarding a nexus from hand you will get additional 4000BP! Really this card is a must for beatdown deck..

With the help of this card effect, u can combo it with “construction” and “Golem craft”.
By using “construction” to take back all your nexus and play it on the field then used “Golem Craft” to change your nexus into a fighting spirits!

Nice combo but make sure you have enough core for this combo! Next week there will be more imba combo coming!

Hi all, so sorry was busy lately so don’t really have much time to update and do review on cards.

If you happen to be at previous tournament – The Mix war- you will have notice that Bs04 list for English is already out and good news is Bs04 will be on sales on the coming 7 May!

During the event and a few players email me, asking how to summon tribute spirits?
Ok first to play a spirit with tribute you have to destroy 1 of your own spirits with a cost greater or equal to the specified cost. Then all the cores from that spirit are moved to the designated area.

Let’s take The SeaDragon – Courant Marin as an example:

[Any Lv] Tribute: A cost of 5 or more (spirit) - > (send your cores) Your trash (designated area)

That’s how you summon a tribute spirit. In Bso5 onwards there will be stronger tribute spirits with power effect which can do even more combos.

As for now let’s start with the first card review for Bs04! This week I’m going to review this card call “The fallen Anglia Azel”.
I was using the Japanese version few months back and I notice it quite a strong card. First you can draw 1 x the number of “Divine Spirits” on your field. Next the reduction cost for it is so cheap! I won’t mind summoning it on the mid game since it free! Attack whiles still quite ok nothing much to comment about. So far I had test out the card and I think it fits in purple deck quite well.

A special review will be up on the coming 1 May (Labour day). As this time round I’m going to review a spirit which is good for blocking and attacking + there is a combo for it too.

hi fans, i'm going to update some information on the upcoming tournament.

Many people have been asking what will the tournament format be like? This coming tournament will be something very new to all players in singapore because currently no other card game tournament have been using this format.

This format is know as "Chaos Battle". What is a "Chaos Battle"?? Unlike all other tournament which you will only get 1 or 2 chances of playing and once you lose say bye bye to your final.

But "Chaos Battle" is a totally different type of format which allows player to duel more. Every player will receive a "Chaos Battle Score Sheet" this score sheet is very important as it record the number of wins you have so don't lose it once you lose it you have to start all over from 0.

Once you have finish the game please ask the judge around you to give you a winning stamp and players are to Q up again to their next battle and this will go on and on till the given time (Which will announce on that day). At the end of "Chaos Battle" players are to submit their Score sheet to the judge table for accounting.

Only the top 8 players with the highest win will enter the final.

Hi fans. Sorry for the late update as I’m quite busy with promoting my deck pro and also preparing the upcoming tournament lately.

Well your waiting is worthily as today I’m going to review a very powerful nexus which can be use in most of our deck.

‘The Absorption triumphal Arch”

I was doing some review writing for April coco and I happen to see this card.

Lvl – 1 is so strong enough to force your opponent to play card which are same colour as their own spirits on the field. So if you’re playing again someone like my deck good for you because you have already won half of the game. Not only my deck but deck which use multiple colour spell as support.

Lv2 – Another even imba effect. Your opponent needs to pay the full cost of the spell instead of paying with reduction cost. It will help to slow down opponent due to lacking of cores and also they will think twice before using any spell

Hmm good nexus which really and kill lots of deck.

~Some updates of tournament this tournament will be very different from other tournament and this format will be the first time being played in Singapore... ~

Hi fans! time seems to past very fast as we're only left with 3 weeks for "The First Greatest Battle" Battle Spirits tournament so is your deck ready for the greatest battle??

This week im going to review my favorite colour in Battle Spirits and that is purple. For many people who have a game with me before should know i have a purple deck.

Why did i choose purple to be my favorite deck?? First, some of the spirits have effect which allows you to draw card from deck. By drawing cards from deck you rise up the chances drawing all the cards you want and the combo you plan. Secondly, purple spirits have lots of effect which allow you to destroy or exhaust opponent spirit during attacking or summoning. Those effect will be a good opening to exhaust or destroy opponent spirits and attack their life directly. Lastly my favorite effect, if you happen to notice another special ability that purple spirit have is they get to remove core from opponent spirit. This will help to lower opponent spirits lvl also to depit their spirits.

Lvl 1- Like i have said earlier on having spirit which have curse effect really save you a lot of trouble by playing spell card just to destroy opponent spirit.

Lvl 2- Hmmm lvl 2 effect is quite strong as you can choose to destroy higher lvl spirit.

Hi fans.. once again it our weekly review of new card. For the past i notice i have been review a lots of cards which are useful for main deck. So for this week im going to review card which can be put inside sideboard.

First what is a side board?

Side board are cards which are not in your main deck and players are allow to 1 to 1 exchange any card out from their main deck with their side board, therefore the sideboard must remain at 10 cards at all times. Only 10 cards are allow in the side board and players can only change it during their 2nd and 3rd game. Players must return their deck to its originally registered configuration at the start of each match.

Is it ok if i have no side board?

Yes no issue, but it best if you can have a side board as you can counter your opponent every moves and combo.

"The Staffofficer Foxin" a low summoning cost spirit with balance attack also a permanent effect of only allow both players to play 1 spell during each of their turns. A good card to against deck which play lot of spell as you can get to control the game faster by turning your opponent speed slower. Not only that if happen your opponent play any spell during their main phase they cant use any spell during their flash step. Hmm not bad idea for putting 1 or 2 in your side board...

Hi fans it our weekly review again. This week im going to share some very special card as requested from Edwin Lim (who sms me asking me to do more review on "Green") as promise this week im going to review this card call "Flock Recovery"..

Lets look at more details of what this card can do which make me review it. This card is very helpful in all kinds of deck.. Why? Because you can use this card to win or save you.

How? Simple if you choose the way of winning your opponent, use it during the your last spirits flash step and refresh 3 of your others exhausted spirits and use them to attack your opponent life directly for the Win!

Nxt if you choose save - what you can do is when you opponent happen to have a lot of spirits monster and your spirits are in exhausted mode activate it and refresh your spirits to prevent life damage done by your opponent..

Lvl 1 - wow it allows you to top opponent top deck card meaning to say if happen your opponent have lots of powerful cards which is still in their deck. Chances of you topping out their powerful cards are there.

Lvl 2 - this card works 2 way. First is either you attack your opponent spirits and destroy it, same time top their deck. But if your opponent keep on defending with their monster they will end up hving no card on their deck and being force to surrender. Nxt if your opponent dont block you will attack their life. so it wrks both way... Strong right after knowing all this LOL i dont mind getting 3 of this card...

Well this week im going to review this X-rare card. The big boss of all "Shogun" spirits"The Seven Shogun - Destlord"!!

Lv 1: woo~ exhaust all Lv2 spirit at once! But players who're using this card please take NEVER lv up your spirit to Lv2 before summoning this spirit if not the effect will also affect your own spirits!

Lv 2: You can gain more cores when your "shogun" defeats a spirits on your opponent field. By using "The Seven Shogun - Destlord" to attack your opponent, your opponent might need think twice to block the attack of "Deslord".

If your opponent did block well good for you cos u will gain more cores due to "Deslord" effect. If your opponent didnt then good for you too as u knock 1 of his life down! Both are win win situation!

For this week im going to review this very cute clown spirit. It mightlook weak but dont under estimate this cute little clown!

Woo even this spirit have 1 effect but the effect is so strong that u can choose to take back spell card frm ur trash and re-use it again!

Cant get enough of Trickster effect? Well another tips u can use "Time Reap" on Trickster to get back more spell card which have been use eairler on!!

Art- 7.5/10 dont u think Trickster is cute??

Since last week we review a promo card well lets come back to the booster pack cards. This week im going to review a very strong common card which is in BS02 and i personally using this card in my deck too as it's too strong. Well Lets check out the effect!

Lv 1- Remove a core frm opponent spirits! For this effect first you can lower down opponent higher Lv spirit on field. Secondly you can choose to depit spirits which only hv 1 core on it. And the attack power for this spirit is 3000!! Quite Big ya...

Lv 3 - You get to randomly discard opponent and lower down his/her hand size which make him lost a lot of advantage agains you. Nxt you also can spoil his combo if you happen to drop the right card!

Hi everyone it our weekly review again! Today im going to review something very very special, it a very rare promo card which only given out to champion overseas. And if you happen to go AFA 2 weeks back i bet you will saw 1 of those special promo cards display by us. Yes im going to review 1 of the promo.

The LeoDragon Lion- Hwol

Imba effect for level 1! If you combo it with "The Phantom Dragon - Sheyron" level 1 effect to move all cores to 1 (meaning to downgrade all spirit level to lv 1 and normally spirit in lv 1 attack will be around 1000 - 3000) then you summon "The Leo Dragon - Lion Howl" and clear opponent field just like how you use "Flame Tempest" but for "The Leo Dragon - Lion Hwol" due to the effect it allows you to draw the same number of spirit being destroy due to this effect meaning to say you can draw more powerful cards out more easily.

Lv 2 effect i guess there isnt much spirit which attack can reaches 14000 attack unless your opponent keep on using spell cards during their flash steps. If they really did it will drain up their hand size too and by then you will gain hand size advantage.

Well things always work 2 ways i have done writing abt the good now for the bad. Summoning costhonestly speaking TOO high! Unless you can store very well with your opponent till mid game and summon out this monster if not it hard for you to summon it out.

Welcome to our weekly review. Last week we have been talking about "The fruit of Life"this week im going to review another nexus and that nexus is "The Evil coffin"

Why did i choose "The Evil coffin" as my review article for this week? Few days back when i was in World Of JJ Simei i saw a lady player her deck using this card and she was controlling her opponent spirit by preventing them to level up. Im so impress by her move thats why im here to write about this card. Something i notice this nexus reduction cost is 2 somehow i find it ez to activate it.

Level 1 - effect can really do a good trick on your opponent. First if your opponent thought of level up their spirit then they have to think twice and carefully as their spirit will be exhaust due to the effect of "The Evil coffin" unless they use card which allows them to add cores. So in both ways your opponent either got a higher level spirit but in exhaust or he choose to have low level but there is a spirit still defending waiting for your attack.

Level 2 - i didnt really notice such strong nexus exist in BS02 and it for purple. The text for the cards are clear enough so i guess i no need to write anymore stuff about it.

Sorry for the late review as all our Battle Spirits instructors were busy preparing for the AFA and also, please note that the "Battle Spirits Championship 2009" will be CANCELED due to the place being used up for some other event.

Lets start the review~ Today I'm going to review a card nexus card from Bs01 which 1 of our instructors have been using and it is the "The fruit of life" yum yum!

This yummy fruit allows you to draw a card after you recieve a hit to your life... Imagine if you have 3 copies of "The fruit of life" on your field and your opponent deals 1 damage to your life, you get to draw 3 cards in exchange for a life! Hmmm this is quite worth in my opinion. Mainly because you can draw the cards which you need as soon as possible and also you can gain hand advantage.

That's not all! Lets see whats next for level 2! "Each time damage is dealt to your life due to a card your opponent controls..." Hey! Wasn't this the requirements for its level 1 effect? Hmmm strange.... Wait a minute! We get a new effect! WOW! Now, while "The fruit of life" is at level 2, we get to gain one extra core to the reserve in addition to drawing a card after damage is dealt to your life! Isn't that neat? How so you ask? Well, you can play bigger monsters, better spells or just plain swarm the field! Always remember! The more cores you have in the reserve, the more options available to you! =D

White Potion

Definately a usefull card! This card allows you to refresh one exhausted spirit you control! That means that you can launch another attack or defend yourself when needed! It has a reduction cost possible of 3 which makes it a potential 1 cost white card if played in the right situations! If the reduction cost requirements are fulfilled, God knows what kind of havoc you can rain on your unsuspecting opponent with another barrage of attacks from this card! Also, cards like Sha-zoo fear this card! If they exhaust your monsters, just use this card and get back into the fray! Many combos and skillful counters can make use of this card so don't hesistate to throw one or two into your deck!

The Sealed Spellbook

Hey hey hey! This is one really cool new card! Tired of seeing cards like "Flame Tempest" and "The seven Shogun Desperado" swath a path clean through your army of monsters? Now, with this card around, THOU SHALL NOT FEAR! With this nexus just being at level 1, everytime a card effect that affects both players is activated, you have the power to decide who gets to utilize the effect! Imagine a this scene when you cast Flame Tempest to clear a walkway through your enemies line of defense without harming all your small monsters! It will be one heck of struggle for your opponent to stay alive! As stated above, it also allows you to bend your enemies effects to your advantage! So enemies beware lest your plan backfires!

Now the fun really begins when this card is at level 2! Why you ask? It is because during your battle phase, any effects that render you liable to draw will allow you to draw twice as much! With cards like Bi-python that give you the power to draw a card when it attacks, so with this card out you will get to draw 2 cards with one attack! One other cool combo is using the Ancient Dragon Territory at Level 2 alongside the Sealed Spellbook! This combo allows you to draw 2 cards whenever your spirits defeat an opponents spirit! You also send the cores on the destroyed spirits into the graveyard, which prevent the enemy from mounting a comeback at you with the cores on his spirits! Last but not least, A monster combo would also do well with this card! And i feel the monster best suited for the job is Mistweasel! When mistweasel is destroyed you get to draw 3 cards! Now imagine if it is destroyed during your battle phase? With the sealed spell book at level 2, you will get to draw 6 cards!! This is a very good way to give yourself more advantage in terms of hand size! How to get him to be destroyed? Simple, just send him on a suicide mission through the enemy ranks! If that does not work, you can always blast away at the field with cards like Flame Tempest. If this is carried out properly, you would have gained an enormous advantage both on the field and in terms of hand size! (Remember to level up spirits often!)

Also, its reduction of 3 makes it a formidable force early game for 2 cores! What more can you ask of this card? With such strong cards, I'm sure you can find some really cool new combos with the cards! Don't forget to mix around the cards from Bs01 & Bs02! They may open the way to greater combos for you!

A brand new week, and here is the card review! However, this week is going to be special as the NEW booster pack for Battle Spirits - Rise of the Angels - will be on sales in 2 to 3 weeks time. In the mean time let us introduce a new colour group "Yellow" Or "Topaz" according to their gem stone! Yellow spirits consist of drifting spirits, melody birds, clowns and Angels so keep an eye out for this new colour! It's going to be a blast taking on combos to a higher level!

The first card we will be reviewing today will be Koristal!

With an all low summoning cost of 0, an attack of 3ooo at level 1 and 5000 at level 2 proves that yellow spirits can hit hard! With such a big amount of Bp, I'm sure many spirits will have trouble getting pass him! However, 1 disadvantage of Koristal is that when this monster Battles (Attacks or Defends) it will be destroyed due to it own effect. However, with the correct measures and careful planning, this creature is a steady guard in the early stages of the game! Better watch out for him!

Next up, we have The HellDog Cerru-Berus

When this spirit is level 1 or 2 it can't attack and block? Apart from the really cute picture, I am definately speechless. However, this cute little puppy, won't stop growing at level 2! At level 3, it's full potential is realised! Read on to find out more!

This cute card is one of the first of it's kind! It is the first Battle Spirit card that enables you to take control of an enemy spirit! WOW! If this isn't good enough check this out! He gets to switch targets every start step! Your enemy will have to think twice about summoning a Cost 6 monster to his side of the field for fear of it betraying him! However, all strong effects have to be balanced and this effect has been balanced! This is so as at the end of the turn you have to return the brainwashed spirit back to your opponent, but as they say, life is about giving and taking! =D

There are just so many other wonderfully cute, powerfull, cool and of course new cards in this new installment of the Battle Spirits Trading Card Game! So hurry and get your packs today! BURN AND DESTROY! ALL MONSTERS WITH 3000BP PLEASE FLY TO THE THRASH PILE PLEASE.

I would consider this card to be very useful in red decks. 4 cores needed after core reduction. It can be used both for offensive purposes or defensive purposes.Best of all it can be used in main phase although it is a flash step magic =D1 setback is that its useless against shazoo.It's not difficult to counter this magic though. Just always remember to level up your spirit. Most spirits have BP of more than 3000 when they are lvl 2 onwards.

Therefore it ain't a 10/10 card thing.This card is able to give you card advantage over opponent.Just use it when your opponent have more than 2 spirits which has BP 3000 below.

My favorite card in battle spirits, “The Phantom Dragon Sheyron”. Ever since the first day I started playing Battle Spirits I fell for it. Let us see the review and find out why!

The first effect of this dark snake monster is really imbalenced (in my opinion). During the summoning of this card, both players move all cores till there are 1 left on every spirit they control and return the rest of the cores to the respective owner's reserve. Because of this effect, you can sweep the enemy's field clean of monsters with the right combo! It also helps you to de-level the spirits on the opponents side of the field, which may just give you the winning edge as the Bp of these spirits will inevitably take a plunge. You can also Level up the spirits on your field, which gives an even bigger edge to you in terms of Bp!

Now, let us look closer at the second effect of Sheyron. At level 2, When Sheyron attacks, all spirits with 1 core cannot block it. Meaning to say, when Sheyron attacks, it is garuanteed a direct hit to the opponent's life unless your opponent uses a spell during the flash step to remove sheyron from the field or prevent it from continuing its attack.

1 bad thing about this spirit is that the summoning cost is too high and the reduction cost is too low so you probably would need to store up some cores before you can summon Sheyron.

Effect: 8/10

Art: 10/10

Rating overall 9/10 Even though it is strong, There are ways to counter it too!

Tips: When your opponent has only 1 life left, summon Sheyron, Level him up, commence the attack and win the game!

There are lots more combos out there which mainly consist of Sheyron. Be creative and think of your own combos =p

Hi fans of Battle Spirits! Welcome to our weekly updates and card review. This week I’m going to review this card called “Storm Draw”

Let’s see what it does which make everyone want a copy of it in their deck.

Wow what a fantastic card for all decks! This card boosts your drawing speed and your hand size by just paying 2 cores from your reserve and if you’re playing a pure green deck, you'll only need to pay 1 core! At the same time you can discard 2 cards which are useless from your hand to the grave.

Not only that, it can boost up your spirits BP too during batte with your opponent.

Rating for this card is 8.5/10!

Art I'll give him a 8/10

Card Review!!

Today i shall talk about another card. One that is commonly used in many decks and is considered a staple!It is None Other than Our good Friend and also our Worst Enemy!

SHA ZOO!

Okay, the here's the card in person and we shall now discuss his usefulness.

First off, Sha-Zoo is a 3 cost monster with up to 2 core reduction possible which makes it splashable in any deck and makes its full potential shine when in a Mono-Amethyst Deck!

This little buddy truly shines when he is destroyed though, Which would enable the control player to exhaust up to 2 spirits on the field, Which could be used to save your self or give you an advantage during your own attack. The reason being is simple, and its because Sha-Zoo is basically a 1 for 3.

How is this possible you ask? Well lets take this scenario as an example!

You want to break past an opponents defences! Both players have one life left but all you had was a beat beetle on your side of the field while he has a Dragon Emperor Siegfried and two sickle-fool Joker on his field and your opponent looks smugly at you knowing that almost nothing you drew could save you. Both players have no cards in hand and you bank all your hopes on this last draw! You draw and it turns out to be Sha-Zoo. You jumped up and praised God as you smile at your opponent as you play the Sha-Zoo. Your opponent's smug face instantly turns back. He knew that with that draw he had lost. The reason being if he blocked Sha-Zoo, he would have to use 1 monster to block it and thus getting Sha-Zoo to be destroyed as all his monsters had higher BP than the Sha-Zoo, thus causing his other 2 the sickle-fool Jokers to get Exhausted and thus allowing your beat beetle to hit him directly for the win! And as such, with that one card, you turned around a game and won it!

The moral of the story is: Sha-Zoo is a card that many fear and that when played correctly, will give you an unbelievably large advantage, mostly in a 1 is to 2 or 3 ratio. Like Silent wall, it can be used for defensive purposes, however, it can also be used in an assault against your opponent, hence making it a very useful and flexible card!

However be warned fellow Battle Spiritans, when Sha-Zoo loses its cores and is unable to sustain its lvl 1 cost, it isn't destroyed but depleted (sent to graveyard) hence, you do not get to exhaust any spirits on the field!

The Rating i would give this card would be a 10/10 giving its useful ability and affordable cost!. It both saves your ass as well as kicks your opponents ass! Whats not to like about this card?

This was supposed to be the 1st card review but i accidentally deleted it. Anyway, I'm just going to re-post it for everyone~

Rating : 10/10

Awesome card i must say. I would recommend to put a couple or even 1 copy at least into your main deck.This card gives you the ability to trick your opponent into attacking. Just when he thought he had the game, you activate silent wall. You stop his battle phase and most of his spirits will be exhausted.

Then, during your turn , you get back your cores from the thrash + those from your life that had been hit. What a great time for a counter attack and this might just pull you a win!
Also to take note of its 4 core cost. If you are a white deck it cost 2 only, 2 cores to save your behind and counter attack is definitely worthwhile.

Tip : Remember to give a sad expression like u are losing or something then when your 2nd last life is hit, u smile and throw this card in his face . =D (remember not to aggravate your opponent too much. Its all about respect people. You as well as your opponent deserve that much in a duel!)

Card Review: Hercules Geo

Helloooooo! Its the 1st Battle spirits card review!

Name : Hercules Geo (Spirit)Cost : 3 ( with 2 green reduction cost)

Lvl 1 : 4000 ( 1 core)

Lvl 2 : 6000 (3 core)

Lvl 3 : 8000 (5 core)

Rating 7/10

I consider this spirit to be very useful. It can be used as the heart of the defense and attack in the game.

Look at its BP. Its OMG* huge! (OMG in this case refers to a ridiculously huge amount of.)

People who are playing green decks , i recommend to put a couple, but 3 would maximize its potential! This big beat stick is really handy when you are in sticky situations. Best of all it will cost only 1 cost if u fulfill the required core reduction! It also helps a great deal in rush decks.

Special Tips

Tactic 1 : Partnering with Hermit Wise Tree.
Imagine having both the Hermit Wise Tree ( level 2 ) and Hercules-Geo. I swear your opponent will have a hard time knocking your life down and protecting their own life from going down. Hercules-Geo attacks and then it gets refreshed at the end step. Hence giving you a very powerful offense as well as defense! You know what they say~ The best offense is a good defense and vice-versa!

Battle Spirits Road Show @ CoCo Office!!

Review:
On the 19th September 2009, the first Battle Spirits Tutorial session is held at CoCo office. The aim was to teach interested individuals the gameplay of Battle Spirits. This event was made possible through the help of CoCo, and the instructors from MoV

13 Sept Tournament 09

Welcome to our first Battle Spirits tournament update! The winner of today's tournament is Bryan Tew, aged 21. He was the first few who started Battle Spirits but unfortunately did not know his deck well!! Suprisingly he won the game by a chance of top draw, which he claimed...he won by luck. First he top drew a "Slient Wall" during his first match with Joel Ang when he had a total disadvantage on his field. In the next match he was lucky enough to walk over to the final!! He's 1 SUPER lucky guy!
